Race 7 - Saturday, November 13, 2004
Indianapolis, IN - Southeastway Park
Wrap up the DINO Trail Run Series with the easiest, flattest, and most spectator-friendly course of them all. High School Cross country runners know the park well, as it has hosted many local, regional, and semi-state meets. The DINO course ventures more into the wooded, narrow trails. The route is a 5k loop, which follows trails along Buck Creek, then ventures out into the open for a dash up the park's sledding hill. 15k runners will complete three laps of the course. There are numerous chances to view runners from near the finish line - perhaps three or four times per lap.
Difficulty rating: Hills: 1 / Surface: 1 (1=easy, 5=difficult)
After the race, celebrate with us in the park's cozy activities building at the DINO Victory Banquet.
DINO Victory Banquet: (1:00 pm November 13, at Southeastway Park, cost $15)
DINO Series awards will be presented, plus random door prizes, entertainment, and a good time with your fellow racers.
Directions: Take I-74 Southeast of Indianapolis to Pleasant View Road Exit. Turn North then immediately left (west) on Michigan Road. After 1/2 mile Michigan Road ends; turn Right onto Carroll Road. Follow Carroll for 1 mile and watch for the park on the left.
