"DINO's AMBC Challenge" - American Mountain Bike Challenge
The weekend offers a variety of activities and opportunities that include
trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing/kayaking, camping,
fishing, and more - this is the place to be for Indiana outdoor enthusiasts!

Mountain Bike racing starts with the AMBC Short-Track Saturday morning, and
the Downhill on Saturday afternoon. Both events are the State Championship
in their respective disciplines. Both also are a chance to earn Bonus Points
toward the DINO Mountain Bike Series. The weekend's biggest event is
Sunday's DINO Challenge AMBC cross-country race. The cross-country course is
hilly and scenic. Lap length is about 6 miles.

Friday June 29

Night Ride on the cross-country mountain bike course. Bring your lights and a hunger for fun!
Short-Track MTB race - 30 minutes plus one lap, on a loop of under 1 mile, contains mostly mowed lanes and fire road.
Special event entry fee for Short-track and Downhill: $20 each ($25 for non-USA Cycling members) or $30 for both events ($35 for non-USAC). Registration opens at 9:15.

Camping: Onsite primitive camping is just $1 per person adjacent to race
site - pay DINO at registration or self-pay station at campground entrance.
No reservations needed. Hookups also available in the designated campground,
call 812-346-2953 to reserve.
Directions: North Vernon is halfway between Madison and Columbus IN. From the center of North Vernon (SR 7 and US 50), go south on SR 7 one mile, watch for the park entrance on the right just before crossing the river. View Map
